About The Position
Terra Mining are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for projects in the Goldfields region, Western Australia. They will provide direct supervision of the activities of tradespersons/technicians including contractors as well as coordinating all installation, maintenance and repair work required in the maintenance team.
Working a 2&1 roster, the Maintenance Supervisors day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to being:
- Responsible for planning and organizing work, distributing tasks to the team, overseeing work progress and performance.
- Work with senior managers and other supervisors to promote and achieve the overall objectives of the mine.
- Develop employees by providing advice, training, encouragement and coaching.
- Ensure that workers are well-trained and have the skills and knowledge they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and planned shutdowns.
- Ensure parts are ordered, tracked an delivered in a timely fashion for unscheduled work.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities including work orders, reports and equipment history.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role of mining equipment.
- Holds a Certificate of Competency in a relevant trade and/or an Engineering or Technology designation.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely within a team environment
- Demonstrated team management and leadership ability
- Must have experience at an advanced level with asset management and plant maintenance.
- High level of communication, organisational and planning skills
- Current C Class drivers’ licence (HR licence preferred, but not essential)
- Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Must have the right to work in Australia
- Current National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months
