About the Position
As we are streamlining our Asset and Plant division, we're excited to offer a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Plant Administrator to assist with the effective management of the company’s earthmoving plant and equipment fleet.
This is a crucial role for Terra Mining as you will support the fleet reliability, compliance and cost control across a fleet of over 100 earthmoving assets operating across various mine sites.
Reporting to the Plant Coordinator, the Plant Administrator will work Monday to Friday in our head office in West Perth and will travel to projects when needed to assist with their asset management requirements.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Maintain accurate, current plant and equipment asset records within the MEX CMMS and related systems.
• Update asset registers including serial numbers, configurations, hour meters, locations, hire status, and service histories.
• Enter and validate plant usage data in MEX and associated reporting tools.
• Monitor asset and component hours within MEX including engines, transmissions, torque converters, and differentials.
• Track planned, upcoming, and completed major component change-outs.
• Track oil samples taken during scheduled maintenance and ensure laboratory reports are recorded.
What You Will Bring to Terra Mining
• Previous experience in asset, fleet or plant administration in a mining or resource industry.
• A tertiary qualification in business administration/asset management (or similar) is desired.
• Strong data and reporting skills are essential.
• Experience using MS Office Suite and ERP software (MEX preferred)
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive attitude to safety and teamwork.
You must have full Australian working rights, be able to complete and pass a medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screen) and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance (within last 12 months).
